We at MBG Dogs Training are proud to have a team of trainers well versed in many styles of dog training. It is with this balanced approach that we personalize each dog’s unique behaviors in our board & train and private lessons. We also offer fun, engaging, and disciplined group classes and day training.
Not only do we have great trainers but an amazing facility on 10 acres of land with a dock diving pool, spacious runs for the dogs, an agility field, and large indoor training space.

DOG TRAINING TIP of the week
Use a single, clear verbal marker (like "yes") consistently and only once when rewarding your dog's desired behavior, avoiding confusion by repeating the marker multiple times; this helps the dog understand exactly what action earned them the positive reinforcement.
Key points about this tip:
Clarity is key:
By only saying "yes" once, you eliminate ambiguity for your dog about what behavior is being rewarded.
Timing is crucial:
Ensure you say "yes" precisely at the moment your dog performs the correct action.
Consistency is vital:
Stick to using the same verbal marker throughout training to avoid confusing your dog.

This class is for puppies under 5 months of age. You will learn intro to place, sit, down, stay, and heel. The following topics will be covered in class too: potty training, how to handle nipping, jumping, barking, and all the wonderful things puppies do at this age.

For puppies 6 months and older. This class is for dogs that have passed Intro to Obedience or with approval from instructor. In this class you will begin phasing out rewards, introducing corrections, and learning heel, stand stay, sit/down in motion, and much more.
